My Morning Routine

I love reading about peoples morning routines; they help give me more motivation, and sometimes I test out a few to see how well they work out for me. Well, today I will be telling you about the best morning routine that I’ve been doing for the past week or so. This post will be relatively short because I know how precious your time is and you don’t want to be wasting it reading about my morning routine. So the night before I spend about 20-30 minutes planning the next day using the millionaire day planner: (which you can download here http://productivity-podcast.com ) After planning the next day, I set my alarm for 6:00am, put on my earbuds, and listen to either a podcast about productivity or a motivational mantra. When I wake up in the morning, I brush my teeth, wash my face, etc. Then I meditate for 10 minutes. After I finish meditating I grab a book and read until 7:00. I then go downstairs and eat breakfast, while I’m eating I begin writing in my journal until 8:00. Once it

Motivation Tip #1

Want some quick motivation? Just picture this. You’re sitting in a huge mansion, relaxing with a cup of lemonade staring out of a large window with the sun shining brightly in your eyes, you’re a lot older and retired from your job. You have everything you could ever want and not a problem in the world. The only way you can enter this stage is by hustling, grinding, working hard and not stopping until you accomplish that goal!! You got this, nothing will happen unless you make it happen! You are the future of this generation get to work! Stop procrastinating, find your purpose and work hard on it! All your hard work will pay off in the long run, and you will be able to experience that amazing feeling. I believe in you! We can accomplish this together.

How to Make Money as an Artist

Artists, Graphic Designs and Producers don’t get a ton of credit for what they do. In fact, a lot of freelance artists struggle to find clients and keep them. I’ve done a lot of freelancing for various rappers, YouTubers and artists to know that it’s really hard to find business, well, lately I’ve been searching for new clients and I’ve found a few awesome sites that I haven’t tried myself but have seen a lot of freelancers find success using them. DesignCrowd Design Crowd is a really cool website where clients can provide a list of what type of work they want and how much they’re willing to pay, and you design it. The only thing I don’t like about this is it isn’t first come first serve, they do it in the way of a contest. A bunch of graphic designers submit their work, and they choose the best one and pay them. They pay anywhere from $10 to $3,000 from what I’ve seen. Fiverr Fiverr is a website where people can host their services for $5 or more. I like Fiverr becau

Benefits of Working in a Coffee Shop or a Library

I always like going to different places to work because it gives me a chance to see something different and sometimes increases my productivity. Here are a few things I’ve noticed while working at both libraries and coffee shops. 1. Other people there are also working. I find it easier to stay focused when I’m filled in a room full of readers, writers, and workers who are all trying to accomplish a goal. This is one of the benefits of working outside the house that’ll give you more motivation and energy. 2. People can see your screen It’s really easy to stay on task when you’re sitting with your back turned, exposing your entire laptop screen, this especially helps me stay on task because I don’t want people seeing me looking for memes and listening to music with various cover arts lol. 3. It’s quiet This one goes with the library more than the coffee shop. Especially if you work in the “quiet area” like me. It’s nice, and you can vastly improve your productivity. Well, that’s about it

Benefits of Sleeping and Waking up Earlier

Waking up early is always something I hated, the same thing goes with sleeping earlier, I always felt like I could get more work done by staying up late. Well, after going to bed no later than 11 pm and waking up no later than 6 am I’ve noticed a huge difference in productivity and I feel a lot more energy and refreshed! Here are most of the benefits I’ve been beginning to notice while doing this. 1. I wasn't tired during the day. Being tired during the day and active at night is one of the most common problems I see between teens and adults, however, waking up early might change that feeling of being groggy and lethargic during the day. Since you’re going to bed earlier and waking up early you’re getting a full 8 hours of sleep, and by doing this every day it sets your sleep cycle up, and your body becomes aware of when it’s time to sleep and when it’s time to wake up. After doing this for a few days, I noticed that I could barely keep my eyes open past 9:30 and I woke up with ton

4 Things I Learned while Reading

Reading is one of those things that I never really liked unless it was either a really short book or a comic, I always knew the benefits of reading and knew that it was basically like exercise for the brain but I never really wanted to do it. Until one day I was watching a Youtube video on the benefits of reading and I saw a lot of benefits that I didn’t even think about like improved focus and stress reduction. So I decided to gather together a bunch of interesting sounding books and buy them on Amazon. The reason why I chose to buy them instead of going to the library is because I knew that if I purchased a book, I would more likely read it since I spent my money on it. So I bought a few books and started reading for 30 minutes every day for a couple of weeks. In this time frame I read two books and here are some benefits I got while reading: 1. I didn’t need wifi. This one is obvious but I liked how I didn’t need wifi to read I could just do it anywhere, I usually just read i

The Number One BEST Broswer to Enhance Productivity

Productivity is one of my favorite words. Every single day I try to be as productive as I possibly can by slamming my to-do list with tasks I know I can accomplish in a day. I end up usually accomplishing everything, most of the stuff I work on doesn’t require internet, but once I’m done with everything I usually just browse the web, however, I still like to remain productive even when I’m just browsing the web, and that’s why I highly, HIGHLY!!! Recommend Opera. Opera is sort of like Google Chrome except uhm… WAY BETTER (in my opinion) It has a super clean layout. A very clean way of adding bookmarks (you can even add thumbnails) and my favorite part, it has a little button on every single video you watch so you can minimize the video and watch it while doing anything. This is my favorite thing to use when I want to watch tv shows while I’m animating on my laptop or working on some cover art for clients or just for my portfolio in general. It really makes the project

How to Stop Procrastination

This is a subject that's really hard to teach people. There are so many videos, articles and even reports on how to stop procrastination but in reality , the hardest part of ending procrastination is actually starting whatever you're procrastinating on. Once you start it the rest will fall through and it will be really easy. Now I bet you're wondering , how do you actually force yourself to start working. Well, it's hard to tell you how you can do it because everyone is different but one way I've found that works every single time is the 1-2-3 method. Basically , this method states that if you want to do something just count in your head 1...2….3! Then do whatever you planned on doing. This takes practice because at the start you'll just say it in your head but just kinda sit there once you hit 3. So what I've found that really helps is to start out using this method on incredibly simple things. For instance: "I will make my bed in 3-2-1 then do it!&q

Top 3 Sites that Increase Focus

I used to be the type of person that desperately wanted to increase my focus, I read so many articles, watched videos but I never really did the one thing that would help me increase my focus which was actually doing the work. Once you force yourself to get into that state of flow you won’t be able to remain focused but here are a few sites that have helped me achieve that state of flow which let me tell you FEELS AMAZING!! Time literally stops moving, and you can get so much done incredibly quickly. When I was in the state of flow, I was able to Animate 30 seconds in 2 hours, make 5 beats in 20 minutes and create some cover art for a client in under an hour. Noisli ( https://www.noisli.com ) Noisli is a site that allows you to listen to ambient noise such as wind, water flowing and my favorite and inside of a coffee shop and tons of others, also if you make an account you can combine these sounds to create the perfect sound that is designed for you. Noisli also includ

Why I choose to ignore some people.

If you've ever sent me a text either on Snapchat, Discord or outright texting. You've noticed that sometimes I go from hours without responding or just simply leave you on read. Here's my reasoning and it's a bit of a rude answer if I have to be honest. You aren't worth my time at that moment. Simple as that. If the conversation is becoming dry and it's a back and forth cycle of "wyd?" then I'm going to just end up leaving you on read. Simple as that, I usually feel like the majority of conversations I have with people aren't leading up to anything that's another reason why sometimes I won't text people first. I just feel like I could be doing something better with my time besides sending asking someone what they're doing 24/7. So some days, if you sent me a message the previous day on Snapchat and I'm still posting on my story without opening your message just know it's because I'm busy or working on something that'
