Instant energy in 2 minutes?

Sometimes I’m feeling very low on energy in the middle of the day but I never really looked into it or searched on how to get more energy, well, one day I was just browsing on the Productivity subreddit, and I saw someone mention something called “Power-Posing.” The idea is Basically you just stand in any “power” pose like the ones below for 2 minutes straight.  Apparently, the benefits you receive by doing this are: - An Instant increase in energy - Boost in confidence - Better posture - More motivation I’ve tried power posing a couple of times but honestly, I haven’t noticed anything so this may be a placebo effect, I’m not sure. Let me know what you think about it in the comments below! :)

My Morning Routine

I love reading about peoples morning routines; they help give me more motivation, and sometimes I test out a few to see how well they work out for me. Well, today I will be telling you about the best morning routine that I’ve been doing for the past week or so. This post will be relatively short because I know how precious your time is and you don’t want to be wasting it reading about my morning routine. So the night before I spend about 20-30 minutes planning the next day using the millionaire day planner: (which you can download here http://productivity-podcast.com ) After planning the next day, I set my alarm for 6:00am, put on my earbuds, and listen to either a podcast about productivity or a motivational mantra. When I wake up in the morning, I brush my teeth, wash my face, etc. Then I meditate for 10 minutes. After I finish meditating I grab a book and read until 7:00. I then go downstairs and eat breakfast, while I’m eating I begin writing in my journal until 8:00. Once it

How to Make Money as an Artist

Artists, Graphic Designs and Producers don’t get a ton of credit for what they do. In fact, a lot of freelance artists struggle to find clients and keep them. I’ve done a lot of freelancing for various rappers, YouTubers and artists to know that it’s really hard to find business, well, lately I’ve been searching for new clients and I’ve found a few awesome sites that I haven’t tried myself but have seen a lot of freelancers find success using them. DesignCrowd Design Crowd is a really cool website where clients can provide a list of what type of work they want and how much they’re willing to pay, and you design it. The only thing I don’t like about this is it isn’t first come first serve, they do it in the way of a contest. A bunch of graphic designers submit their work, and they choose the best one and pay them. They pay anywhere from $10 to $3,000 from what I’ve seen. Fiverr Fiverr is a website where people can host their services for $5 or more. I like Fiverr becau

Benefits of Working in a Coffee Shop or a Library

I always like going to different places to work because it gives me a chance to see something different and sometimes increases my productivity. Here are a few things I’ve noticed while working at both libraries and coffee shops. 1. Other people there are also working. I find it easier to stay focused when I’m filled in a room full of readers, writers, and workers who are all trying to accomplish a goal. This is one of the benefits of working outside the house that’ll give you more motivation and energy. 2. People can see your screen It’s really easy to stay on task when you’re sitting with your back turned, exposing your entire laptop screen, this especially helps me stay on task because I don’t want people seeing me looking for memes and listening to music with various cover arts lol. 3. It’s quiet This one goes with the library more than the coffee shop. Especially if you work in the “quiet area” like me. It’s nice, and you can vastly improve your productivity. Well, that’s about it

Benefits of Sleeping and Waking up Earlier

Waking up early is always something I hated, the same thing goes with sleeping earlier, I always felt like I could get more work done by staying up late. Well, after going to bed no later than 11 pm and waking up no later than 6 am I’ve noticed a huge difference in productivity and I feel a lot more energy and refreshed! Here are most of the benefits I’ve been beginning to notice while doing this. 1. I wasn't tired during the day. Being tired during the day and active at night is one of the most common problems I see between teens and adults, however, waking up early might change that feeling of being groggy and lethargic during the day. Since you’re going to bed earlier and waking up early you’re getting a full 8 hours of sleep, and by doing this every day it sets your sleep cycle up, and your body becomes aware of when it’s time to sleep and when it’s time to wake up. After doing this for a few days, I noticed that I could barely keep my eyes open past 9:30 and I woke up with ton

4 Things I Learned while Reading

Reading is one of those things that I never really liked unless it was either a really short book or a comic, I always knew the benefits of reading and knew that it was basically like exercise for the brain but I never really wanted to do it. Until one day I was watching a Youtube video on the benefits of reading and I saw a lot of benefits that I didn’t even think about like improved focus and stress reduction. So I decided to gather together a bunch of interesting sounding books and buy them on Amazon. The reason why I chose to buy them instead of going to the library is because I knew that if I purchased a book, I would more likely read it since I spent my money on it. So I bought a few books and started reading for 30 minutes every day for a couple of weeks. In this time frame I read two books and here are some benefits I got while reading: 1. I didn’t need wifi. This one is obvious but I liked how I didn’t need wifi to read I could just do it anywhere, I usually just read i
